Crews Vs is an organisation that has been created to encompass the attitude, emotions and excitement of illegal street racing and package it in a legal manner for the masses.
Our creators are all ex-street racers that got caught up in the life style but hated the fact that police would never allow them to have fun even when it did not affect anyone else. Therefore we have come together to work with and around the system so we can have fun without the incessant police intervention.
There are many aspects to Crews Vs but initially we are focusing on building our community and helping clubs with their car meets and events, making sure they go ahead without police stopping them. We have spoken with a range of local authorities to make sure that as long as the events are happening in a legal way we can still have as much fun as we wish without any authority intervention.
We also want to work with our community to understand fully what your automotive wants are and then use our power to make these a reality.
In the modified car scene and the performance car scene there are 2 different groups. There are the Street Racers and the Boy Racers. Sadly too often the police look at all people who drive these vehicles as boy racers. Here is a quick definition of the two.
Street racers are individuals that drive street legal vehicles whether modified or standard, that enjoy their performance and use them at a range of legal events such as, drag racing RWYB, track days, drift events and time attacks. On many occasions they will meet at a range of locations and appreciate each other’s vehicles.
Boy racers are people that deliberately antagonise the police through Illegal Street racing and doing other illegal activities normal on public property.
We understand the enjoyment from not conforming to the rules but we are working to make sure we can combine this enjoyment in a more legal manner.
We cater for people who drive anything from a Fiat to a Ferrari, a Lada to Lamborghini.
Our current initiative is to push the promotion of legal car meets and events all over the UK and to revolutionise the performance automotive scene in 2010.
Currently we have our photographers attending car meets all over the UK so if you wish for them to attend, place your meet on the website and contact us with all the details and we will inform you if this will be possible.
